How To: Be A Wrap Star

Finished your Christmas shopping already? We salute you! Santa and his elves have nothing on you. You’ve nailed the presents, now it’s time to nail the presentation and earn your credentials as a wrap star! Love it or hate it, everyone can revel in the smug feeling you get whilst placing the perfect pile of presents under the tree. Just us? When it comes to wrapping, our number one tip is to choose a theme and stick to it. Remember, it’s not just about the paper! We’re all about the extras.

Keep things classic and stick to the official colour palette of Christmas – red, green, white and gold (and a little bit of tartan). Choose paper in each colour and then tie everything together with contrasting silk bows. Don’t be afraid to clash! Keeping to four colours and adding one print will make sure everything stays in-sync

This is how we’re doing our wrapping this year! Inspired by our Christmas press event, we’re going natural and choosing brown paper. The brown paper is environmentally friendly, re-usable and simple enough to get on and adorn. Stick with the natural theme and use twine to tie up your parcel, then get outside and see what seasonal treats you can find. Keep your eye out for pine cones and holly leaves!

Are you creative? This is the option for you! Show off your artistic flair and wrap your gifts in black chalk paper. Put your doodling skills to the test and draw out snowflakes, reindeers and baubles as well as your favourite Christmas song lyrics. Use a classic red bow to complete your creation

It’s the most magical time of the year so add some extra sparkle to your present stack with rainbows, unicorns and stars. Whether you’re wrapping up pressies for the little lady in your life, or all things pink and pretty are your personal brand, choose paper in shades of pink, purple and baby blue, add contrasting ribbon and then add silver stars as the final touch.

It might be the metal that represents third place, but we guarantee your gifts will win first place with this wrapping idea. Choose a metallic copper paper and then jingle all the way by adding round Christmas bells. The pièce de résistance? Add a couple of sprigs from your Christmas tree (take them from the back) and sprinkle a little bit of fake snow over your present pile. You just won Christmas.

Still got to get your gifts? We’ve got you.
