Are all River Island stores open?
We’re closely following government guidelines to keep our colleagues and customers safe while delivering the style and service you love. In line with the latest instructions, we will be temporarily closing our stores in Wales from Friday 23rd and the Republic of Ireland from Wednesday 21st October. We will reopen as soon as we are confident that we can do so safely and responsibly. Until then, our community is always open online!
If you are unsure if your local store is open, please use our store finder where you will also see our updated hours.
What if I have a Click and Collect order at a closed store?
If you were unable to get your Click & Collect order before your selected store closed, please don’t worry, we are keeping it safe for you. We’ll let you know as soon as the we are able to welcome you back to store to pick it up. We’re so sorry that you have to wait for your style fix and want to thank you for your patience and continued support.
Do I need to wear a face covering when visiting a River Island store?
Yes, for the wellbeing of all Islanders (customers & colleagues alike) we request that you do wear a face covering when visiting our stores. Please be aware that according to the latest government advice, as of Friday 24th July it will be mandatory for all shoppers in England, along with Scotland and the Republic of Ireland, to wear a face covering to enter any retail store. We want you to know that we are doing everything we can to make your shopping experience as safe as possible and a team member may ask you to put a face covering on before you are permitted to enter.
What safety measures are in place in your stores?
All open stores have new measures in place to keep you and our teams safe. From reducing visitor numbers, to installing clearly marked distancing zones and brand-new safety equipment, we’re doing all we can to safely offer the service you love. Get more info on the new store experience here.
